As a Practice we have chosen to participate in research with the NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research). We feel that all stakeholders benefit from this work, with all parties contributing to the development of new and innovative practices in healthcare.
Clinicians find they are much more in touch with the lastest thoughts and evidence that help them to provide care and patients find they are able to take an active role in their care. They not only value the importance of participating in the improvement of healthcare provision in the future, but when enrolled in a trial, they also benefit from more frequent and high quality monitoring.
